The wonder that is Acai Berry Functional Fusions

Written by Annie on Mar 12th, 2009 | Filed under: General

The Acai Berry, nature’s most impressive super food

Acai berries are native to Brazil and are the fruit of an indigenous palm tree; they are very well known in Brazil and are used in countless ways as a supplement and as a food source. Scientists have recently discovered, with advances in nutritional science, that these berries are literally packed full of antioxidants and polyunsaturated ‘good’ fats and proteins and are the world’s most potent super food. The berries are very delicate and quickly spoil after harvesting. Until now the processed products made from the Acai berry lacked the concentration of those nutrients and compounds of the fresh berry.

Acai Berry Functional Fusions is one of the first products on the market to contain the full benefit of the fresh berry.

Acai Berry Functional Fusions
Acai Berry Function Fusions contain the pure, concentrated berry processed alongside other concentrated nutrients to produce three distinct health drinks aimed at combating weight, energy and beauty. The antioxidant effects and chemical compounds found in the concentrated berry material is well known for its benefits in each of these areas. Scientists are even researching its benefits in helping to reduce the instances of cancer on the rise in western society.

Acai Berry Functional Fusions delivers the maximum level of these antioxidants and other ‘free radical’ fighting compounds available on the market.

Weight Loss Can Be Easy With The Right Diet

Choosing the right diet is always an essential part of successful weight loss. For me a diet is not something that you do for a few weeks before you revert back to your bad eating habits as this kind of approach will just see you back to your original weight sooner rather than later. If you can choose a diet that you can sustain — think of it as a lifestyle change rather than a change in the food that you eat — then you are on to a winner. Combining your new food regime with a tasty diet aid like Acai supplements is the best way to add a bit of variety.Exercise can be a fun part of your quest to get fit and healthy, and it doesn’t have to be strenuous or painful; it can also all be done in the comfort of your own home. Start off gently and work up to more strenuous exercises. Once you know where the edge of your comfort zone is you can begin to push it slightly each time you exercise.Choosing the right food is easy and it doesn’t have to be boring. The right mental attitude will see you on the way to weight loss in  no time.

Making Weight Loss Easier

Dieting is the practice of deliberately choosing and regulating your food intake in order to maintain a controlled weight. Some people might want to put on more weight (people heading into cold climates, for instance) whereas the more common use for the diet is to help people to be successful in their weight loss. Many diets are what I would call ‘crash diets’. The idea is that you basically starve yourself of food — or a certain class of nutrients — until you are at your desired weight. The problem with this approach is that on reaching the target weight many people revert to their previous bad habits. Of course the natural consequence of this is that the weight comes right back again.A better way to control weight with the help of a controlled diet is to make it sensible and make it sustainable. Forget Atkins and the ‘Beverly Hills’ diet: these are just likely to make you ill.Acai juice on a daily basis can help to give you a lot of antioxidants that your body loves. Acai juice will not make you ill nor does it mean starving your body of other nutrients that it needs. This is the kind of sustainable dieting aid that really can help your weight loss.

Acai Berry and night vision

Written by Annie on Feb 20th, 2009 | Filed under: General

With a post title that might be more suited to a fairy tale than to a serious discussion of the benefits of taking more acai berry into your diet, you might be excused for thinking that ‘night vision’ isn’t really a serious benefit.

You’d be wrong.

The anthocyanins in acai berry help our bodies in a myriad of different ways. Of course, the acai berry is not the only fruit that have large amounts of anthocyanins in them. Another is the humble bilberry.

The story goes that in the Second World War, British pilots ate lots of bilberry jam just before dangerous missions into occupied territory. The pilots were all convinced that this bilberry actually helped greatly in improving their vision generally, and their night vision in particular.

It might be easy to write this off as superstition but then there is corroborating evidence from Japan, where bilberries are used to ease eye strain caused by too much staring at computer screens.

Scientists have managed to pinpoint exactly where these benefits come from, and they have found that the anthocyanins do help with vision, amongst other things. They also help in fighting off glaucoma and macular degeneration.

The acai berry contains more of these anthocyanins than the traditional bilberry ‘cure’. Worth considering.

Ares in the Greek mythology is the god of war.  Ares, son of Zeus and Hera and half-brother to Athena, also a deity of war.  Athena stance was one of strategic warfare.  Ares was unpredictable in war.  The reading of his character remains ambiguous, in a late 6th-century funerary inscription from Attica: “Stay and mourn at the tomb of dead Kroisos/ Whom raging Ares destroyed one day, fighting in the foremost ranks”.  Ares is the god of war.

Thailand is such a great place for a holiday. Playing a big part in why the country is so great are the beautiful Thai girls. It’s incredible just how many gorgeous Thai girls there are. They’re everywhere. If you want be dating Thai girls, you could do far worse than looking for an online Thai dating website. There are lots of these websites connecting Thai women with Western men every day.

Too many men go to Thailand with the idea in their heads that the best way of dating Thai girls is by going to a go-go bar. Sure, it’s easy to pick a number and take a girl home for a bit of short-time fun, but it’s not exactly romantic. Using a Thailand dating service is a much better way to go.

Thailand is a pretty big pond and you’re only a small fish. No matter how many Western men end up using these Thai dating websites for dating Thai girls, there are still more than enough Thai women online for you to find someone who you might be able to form some kind of meaningful, lasting relationship with.

Once you’ve found the Thai dating agency that you feel comfortable with, you’ll be ready to start connecting with the Thai girls who are signed up. Take a bit of time to look for someone who shares at least some of your interests. It would be far too easy just to pick the best looking Thai girl and ask for a date, but you might find yourself with someone you have nothing in common with.

As you’ll soon find out, using online chat services is a big part of the dating Thai girls. If you don’t like using chat, it might be worth just grinning and bearing it for a while so that you and your potential Thai dates can get to know each other better.

After a bit of time chatting, you’ll be ready to start actually going out and dating Thai women. Don’t come on too strong for the first date, but rather, pick a good movie and a romantic spot for dinner and see how it goes.

Ares has chat rooms that members can join and host. Ares members have access to all other members shared folders. Identity theft is always a concern and one needs to protect delicate files by not placing any personal information in a shared folder.

Phuket is a special place

There’s something about Phuket that keeps visitors coming back year after year. Phuket is a large island in southern Thailand. It has beaches, nightlife, culture, attractions, activities and restaurants. If you’re thinking about where to go for your next holiday, Phuket might be just what you’re looking for – so get online, look up those cheap Phuket flights and let’s get planning your trip.

First the beaches. Phuket has more than a dozen beaches vying for your attention. Phuket’s beach vary in terms of quality and beauty, but each one has its own unqiue charm. Patong is the most popular beach in Phuket, although it’s more sun loungers than sand.

The best beaches in Phuket are the ones that not so many people go to. Mai Khao on the north of the island is a prime example. Also check out places such as Yanui Beach and Nai Harn Beach.

While you’re in Phuket, you might want to take advantage of a day trip to one of the nearby islands. There are lots of island dotted around the coast of Phuket. Coconut Island is one of the best and virtually no tourists ever make it that far. If you want to catch a glimpse of what Phuket might have looked like 30 years ago, go to Coconut Island.

There is lots to do in Phuket. You can go on safari tours, try go-karting, go elephant trekking or even bungee jumping. There are activities all over the island, which is why Phuket is such a great destination for families.

Partygoers always commend Phuket for its nightlife scene. The current hotspot is Surin Beach, which now has large number of trendy drinking establishments that have been successfully injecting a bit more life into the party scene. During high season, be sure to visit Laem Sing Beach on Sunday for the Soundwave Sunday beach party – Phuket’s original and best.

The Legal Situation With Salvia

Written by Annie on Feb 1st, 2009 | Filed under: General

Salvia is a legal drug. Usually. Across the patchwork of American States, though, lawmakers have wildly differing opinions on whether me going to the shop (or going online) to buy salvia should be illegal or not. There are a handful of states that have deigned it not legal to buy salvia, and many others are wavering on the edge of doing exactly the same thing.

In countries other than the US it is perfectly legal to buy salvia and smoke as much of it as you want. Australia is perhaps the rather surprising exception to this liberal non-rule.

The ability of the general public to buy salvia online makes any laws that may come into effect even more difficult to monitor and enforce. A sale of sally D over the web may be legal in one state – the state in which the supplier is in – but may then be illegal in the destination state. To confuse matters even more, someone may buy salvia in one state and then simply drive over into another state.

It is these complications – plus the fact that so very few people have been charged due to salvia-related offenses since the states started taking individual stances – that makes me believe that the law on salvia is nothing more than a political move.

Amino Acids, Fatty Acids, and Acai Berry

Written by Annie on Jan 29th, 2009 | Filed under: General

Acai berry is all about the antioxidants, you may think. This is what we are told when acai is described to us; this is a super food because of the amount of antioxidant that is contained within it. This supposition is partly true: there is a lot of antioxidant in acai berry, and there is a lot of good to be had from ingesting decent amounts of antioxidants.

But the important thing to remember is that acai berry is not just about antioxidants. It’s also full of amino acids, essential omega fatty acids (that’s the good fat that your body likes) and lots of other goodness. Plus, and this for me is the clincher: it tastes great, too!

It’s natural that people want a reason as to why acai berry is great, and it’s only natural that those same people want to latch on to what is arguably the strongest weapon in its arsenal. What it does mean, though, is that the many other benefits of using acai are lost to us; many people just don’t know about these ‘fringe’ benefits. It is these fringe benefits, though, that make acai into the all-round ‘monster’ of the super food world. Choose this little berry, and you will choose life.
