Don’t Be An Over Zealous Sitter

Written by Annie on Dec 30th, 2008 | Filed under: General

I am an experienced salvia sitter. What that means is that if one of my friends decides to take it upon themselves to buy salvia without first having identified a smoking partner, then I will sit with them, sober, while they try the drug. A better solution is to have one or more smoking partners, as this means you can take it in turns to smoke and sit. But hey, I don’t mind helping out once in a while if a friend wants to buy salvia and try it without anyone else knowing.

The first rule of being a sitter is not to panic. As bad as a trip might seem from the outside it is almost always fine for the person experiencing it. In any case the trip is so short that it is simply not worth getting panicky over: it’s going to be all but over in a few minutes anyway. Sit it out and remind yourself why you buy salvia in the first place: experimentation!

The next rule of being a sober sitter is to not get involved in the trip. Don’t touch the person, and don’t prevent them from exploring! No body who wants to buy salvia wants their experience muted by an over zealous sitter!
